Raffles Resort Canouan Island

Raffles Resort is set in its own private 1,200 acres of land surrounded by green hills, secluded white beaches and the sea of southern Antilles. Designed by famous Italian architect Luigi Vietti, the resort boast of one-and two-storey villas.

Raffles Resort features an 18-hole championship-grade golf course designed by Jim Fazio, a 929 square metre (10,000 square feet) luxury Rafflesamrita spa, private yacht mooring, a beachfront pool and jacuzzi, and four restaurants and bars. Near the resort and overlooking the sea is a European-style casino, which is managed by a world-class casino operator.

One defining difference at Raffles Resort Canouan Island is the size of the 156 accommodations. Each of the guestrooms have an area of no less than 600 square feet and all have private covered patios or terraces with comfortable lounge chairs and views overlooking the beach and sea. Accommodations include garden and ocean view rooms, and suites with one, two, three or four bedrooms.

All rooms feature spacious comfortably appointed living rooms, separate bedrooms and large walk-in closets. The suites offer enormous living areas with separate full bathrooms and fully equipped kitchenettes. Private plunge pools have recently been added to a number of the suites.

Canouan Island is accessible by air from North America, Canada and Europe through five major gateways, namely Barbados, Grenada, Martinique, St. Lucia and San Juan, with scheduled flights offered by American Eagle, Mustique Airways and LIAT Airlines. It is approximately 160 kilometres (100 miles) west of Barbados and a few kilometres southwest of Mustique.
