The Hotel Cipriani is famous for its peaceful and beautiful gardens that enchant throughout the seasons. From the moment you arrive at the landing stage the beauty of the gardens surrounds you. The vineyard of the Cipriani is still in use today and produces “Casanova Salso”, a collector’s wine from the Giudecca Island.

Linked to Hotel Cipriani by an ancient courtyard and flowered passageway with magnificent views overlooking the lagoon and Piazza San are the two 15th-century buildings, the Palazzo Vendramin and Palazzetto Nani-Barbaro.

These splendid annexes are at the disposal of those guests for whom privacy is an essential requirement. Their apartments are presented in a variety of combinations, from standard twin bedrooms to double suites. The Palazzetto offer five junior suites overlooking St Mark's Square and a team of highly trained staff, your every need is catered for. The interior décor is a soothing combination of pastel coloured walls, which blend perfectly with the precious Rubelli and Fortuny fabrics and light furniture. A fully-equipped kitchenette in each suite completes the feeling of a home away from home.

There can be no finer view of Venice than that of its lagoon and Doge’s Palace framed by the Gothic windows of the Palazzo Vendramin. This grand 15th century residence, reached through the Hotel Cipriani’s Casanova Gardens, offers seclusion, space and a wonderful feeling of romance.

The Palazzo’s eight apartments (11 bedrooms total) are splendidly decorated in a style inspired by Fortuny and consist of Junior Suites, Suites or Double Bedroom Suites. It is an ideal setting for family reunions, small VIP gatherings, as well as for senior level management meetings and select seminars.

The Vendramin Suite is the jewel in the crown of the Palazzo Vendramin. The living room offers awe-inspiring vistas and understated luxury. The high level of privacy has made it a top choice among VIPs and stars.

The Cipriani is closed from mid-November to early March and Palazzo Vendramin is closed between mid-January to April.

The Hotel Cipriani can arrange private transfers to or from Marco Polo Airport (which is 30 minutes away from the hotel) and the main railway station (15 minutes). Their representative will meet you at the airport and help you to reach the private water taxi pier by shuttle bus. The cost for an airport transfer is approximately €110 inclusive of: greeting at the arrivals lounge, porterage service, private shuttle and water taxi. Please email them with your arrival flight details at least seven days prior to your visit to arrange this service.

Motoscafo - these private water taxis can be arranged for transfers and excursions around Venice by their concierge.
Vaporetto - public boat services operate from the airport to the terminal at St Mark's Square beside the Cipriani's private landing stage.
The n° 42 public boat, leaving from the Zitelle stop behind the hotel (five minute walk) provides services at 20 minute intervals stopping at (amongst others) Piazzale Roma, and the Railway Station. In the other direction, the n° 41, San Zaccaria (near St Mark's Square, Arsenale, Fondamente Nuove, Murano). The n° 82 public boat also leaves from the Zitelle stop at 15 minute intervals in each direction.
