Each day starts with Qi Gong meditation, watching the sun rise out of the ocean. Afterwards, you can choose to restore balance through inwardly focused "Yin" activities - such as Yoga, Pilates or Dance - or a little "Yang" action - like boxing or belly-dancing - designed to get your blood pumping. Or maybe you need a little Spa time. They say that an army runs on its stomach, and the community at the Gold Coast's Gwinganna is no different. The vegetarian, fish and meat dishes, are imaginatively prepared with an emphasis on Low Human Intervention - much of it grown on the property. The Heritage guesthouses of the ‘village' are traditional Queensland style country houses that have been brought to Gwinganna piece by piece. Their dark native woods and piles of pillows blend home comfort and luxury.
